Aspiration Trail Build Continuation
Feb 06, 2021 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM

We are ready to start blazing some more trail.  We will meet at Monster Storage on Pioneer Road (3909 S. Pioneer Rd) (across from the Calvary Chapel) at 10:00 am and the weather looks good.  Bring your gloves and digging srapping tools.  Let me know if you can help.

Thanks,

Dave Nelson

Aspiration Trail Build Continuation
Feb 13, 2021 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM

Just a time change for this Saturday.  We will meet at 11:00am instead of 10:00am.

Hi All Great Trail Builders,

We are doing a great job on the Aspiration Trail Build.  We now have one section for us to complete on the Ridge Tail Portion.  That will be between post 18 & 19.  A couple from the Hiking Club went up today and cleared the area we need to finish.  That should not take too long.  Our next task will be to begin the Boundary Trail which connects two portions of the old trail.  This trail will mark the new top of the trail.  We will have to do more climbing to get to both of these sections so be prepared for a little more hiking and elevation gain.

So let me know if you can help.

Thanks,

Dave Nelson

Aspiration Trail Build Continuation
Feb 27, 2021 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM

Hi All Great Trail Builders,

We are nearing the end of our Aspiration Trail Project.  Last Saturday we carved out a new section which will become the upper level of the trail once Construction begins at the top of the ridge.  We now need to put the final touches on the trail.  We will continue to smooth out and level the trail and complete placing rocks along the edge of the trail and then complete the connection to the old trail.  We will meet again at Monster Storage and hike the 1 mile up to the trail.

So let me know if you can help.

Thanks,

Dave Nelson
